The New York area has three cruise terminals, and the one you sail from depends on your cruise line and ship. Knowing which terminal you are using — and planning your transfer — makes embarkation day far less stressful.
Manhattan Cruise Terminal
Located on the West Side of Manhattan along the Hudson River, the Manhattan Cruise Terminal is close to Midtown hotels. It is convenient if you are spending a night or two in the city before sailing.
Brooklyn Cruise Terminal
The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is in Red Hook, with views of the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan. It is easily reached from JFK, LaGuardia and Brooklyn neighborhoods.
Cape Liberty Cruise Port (Bayonne, NJ)
Across the harbor in Bayonne, New Jersey, Cape Liberty is a short drive from Newark Liberty International Airport. See our Bayonne chauffeur service for local details.
Tips for embarkation day
- Check your boarding window. Cruise lines assign arrival times — plan your pickup around yours.
- Book a vehicle with room for luggage. Cruise travelers pack more than usual. An SUV or Sprinter van is often the best choice for couples and families.
- Fly in the day before. We can handle the airport‑to‑hotel and hotel‑to‑port transfers so everything is coordinated.
- Book the return trip too. Disembarkation mornings are busy; a pre‑booked car avoids long taxi lines.
Sailing from somewhere else?
We also provide cruise transfers in Florida — including PortMiami, Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral near Orlando and Port Tampa Bay — as well as Boston and Los Angeles.
